Victoria Tinney
MEng CEng MIStructE, SER Approved Certifier of Design
Director
Victoria is a chartered structural engineer with the Institution of Structural Engineers and a member of the CROSS- UK structural expert panel. She received a commendation in the 2020 Institution of Structural Engineers' Young Professional of the Year Award.
Her career started in London, working for practices including Price & Myers, before moving to Glasgow in 2021, and starting her own practice in 2024. She has worked on a number of projects throughout the UK, including the new visitor centre and "Big Box" at Macintosh's Hill House in Helensburgh, the conversion of The Victoria Hospital residential development in Glasgow, and the UK’s first-ever verified net zero carbon home, Max Fordham House.
Victoria will bring the highest of standards to all projects, recognising that attention to detail, and good communication, are key to project success, no matter what the size of the project. She has a particular passion for conservation, retrofit and reuse of existing and historic buildings.
Victoria is registered with SER as an Approved Certifier of Design (Buildings) and can undertake certification of structural design for building warrant applications in Scotland.
Paul Pickering
EngTech TIStructE
Revit Technician
Paul has over 45 years’ experience producing quality structural engineering drawings, with over 15 years’ using Revit to model projects in 3D. His project experience ranges from detailing on the first skyscraper at Canary Wharf, to working on a scheme to protect the Royal Tombs in Tanis, Egypt. When he is not working, Paul can be found hedge laying, or conserving nature locally in Devon. He recently helped on a peat conservation project on Dartmoor.
David Irvine
BSc(Eng) CEng MICE MIStructE FConsE
Consultant
David is a chartered civil and structural engineer with over 40 years’ experience working in the industry. He brings a vast experience of both engineering and project management roles to any project. Before becoming a consultant, he has held positions of Director at various Glasgow based engineering consulting, and boosts a portfolio of projects throughout the UK and abroad.
